Supplier setup guide
From sign-up to first delivery.
Everything a firewood company needs to take orders online: your prices, your delivery area, card payments and a route for each delivery day.
The seven steps
- 1
Create your account
Go to Supplier sign in and sign up with your email and a password. Confirm your email and you're in. - 2
Add your company
Business name, phone, yard address and a short description. Your company name becomes your order page address, like woodforfire.com/order/your-company. - 3
Add products and prices
Add each wood type (oak, mesquite, mixed hardwood and so on), whether it's seasoned or kiln-dried, and the sizes you sell. Sizes always show cubic feet — for example, Half cord — 64 cubic feet, stacked. Add stacking fees if you offer stacking. - 4
Set your delivery area and schedule
List the ZIP codes you deliver to, the weekdays you deliver, and how many days of notice you need. Customers can only pick dates that fit. - 5
Connect payouts
Fill out a short Stripe form with your business and bank details so card payments go straight to your bank account. You can skip this and collect payment at delivery for now. - 6
Share your order form
Copy your order link, or paste a two-line snippet into your website to show the order form right on your page. Works with most site builders. - 7
Run your deliveries
New orders show up in your dashboard and your inbox. Assign a driver, put each day's stops in driving order, open the route in Google Maps, and mark each stop delivered.

Recurring and commercial orders
Customers can book repeat deliveries every two weeks, monthly or every two months. Each delivery appears on your calendar on its own, and for card orders the customer is charged only when you mark that delivery delivered.
Commercial customers such as restaurants, campgrounds and hotels can order multiple cords and share their business details, so you know what you're quoting before you load the truck.
Common questions
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. Your account, your directory listing, your order page and the embeddable order form are free. We only take a small platform fee on card orders paid through wood for fire, shown in your dashboard before you connect payouts.
How long does setup take?
Most companies finish in about 20 minutes: 5 minutes for the account and company profile, 10 for products and prices, and a few more for the payout form with Stripe.
Can I take orders before payouts are connected?
Yes. Orders still come in, and the customer pays you at delivery. Once payouts are connected, customers can pay by card when they order.
Do I have to use the embed on my website?
No. You can share your order link by text, email or social media instead. The embed is there if you want customers to order without leaving your site.
Who sets the prices and delivery area?
You do. You set every price, stacking fee, delivery ZIP code, delivery weekday and the minimum days of notice.
I'm already in the directory. Is that the same thing?
Your directory listing is free and stays free. Claiming it links it to your supplier account so you can keep it accurate. We approve claims by hand to protect your listing.
